Most people put a lot of effort into being like others around them. We also tend to follow the thoughts or opinions of society threw television, movies, books and the internet. People just have a natural tendency to just want to fit in.

During a catalogue search at my local library, I came across this title: “Fitness without Exercise – The Scientifically Proven Strategy for Achieving Maximum Health with Minimum Effort.” This book by Bryant Stamford and Porter Shimer really misses the point. After all, fitness is more of an attitude than a destination.

While traditional marketing can work for the book author or publisher, the return is dim for the huge effort it takes. You must promote 90% of the time to even get a milligram of attention. While you may have a success or two, most of your efforts will bring poor book sales.
